
Natalie Hernandez
Hi, my name is Natalie Hernandez, and I am a first generation Guatemalan-American student and I am excited to learn about perspectives other than my own. I am a student at the University of San Diego. I have a passion for social justice and I love to travel. I recently traveled to Cuba, where I discovered my interest in salsa and political philosophy! This summer I will be joining the work of Genesis and look forward to living in the Alameda Point Collaborative community.

Josefina Jaramillo Munguia
My name is Josefina Jaramillo Munguia, but you my friends can call me Jose. I was raised on both sides of the US-Mexico border so you bet I cheer for both national teams at the World Cup. I am constantly working to become a more compassionate, curious and intentional individual. I am also an advocate for immigrant justice and a firm believer in the power of laughter. I am a student at the University of San Diego. This summer I will be joining the work of Saint Mary’s Center and look forward to living in the Alameda Point Collaborative community.

Ericka Lacsamana
My name is Ericka Lacsamana and I'm a very energetic and smiley hugger. I love people whether it be working, helping or just getting to know them, especially if there's boba it's a happy time. I love to sing as well because I believe music adds a spice to life. I am a student at Saint Mary’s College of California. This summer I will be joining the work of Saint Anthony’s Foundation and look forward to living in the Alameda Point Collaborative community.

Amy Maltz
My name is Amy Maltz and I am a current junior at the University of San Diego studying Ethnic Studies with a double minor in Theology and Gender Studies. I love to read, learn and meet new people! I can't wait to grow and experience all that the MICAH summer Fellowship has to offer. This summer I will be joining the work of Coaching Corps and look forward to living in the Alameda Point Collaborative community.

Genesis Manyari
My name is Genesis Manyari. I'm a Justice, Community, and Leadership major, with a minor in Women and Gender Studies at Saint Mary’s. I am a proud Latinx from San Francisco. I am passionate about social justice and female empowerment, I believe in the good of humanity and think we can rise up to create a better world for ourselves. This summer I will be joining the work of the Alameda Point Collaborative children and teen center and look forward to living in the Alameda Point Collaborative community.

Leora Mosman
My name is Leora Mosman and I am a rising senior at Saint Mary's College studying Politics with a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. I am a Resident Advisor for first year students and I work for our Mission and Ministry Center as the coordinator for our on-campus food pantry. Speaking truth to power both terrifies and thrills me the most; I thrive off of all things activism and cannot wait to get the MICAH experience this summer! This summer I will be joining the work of Catholic Charities of the East Bay and look forward to living in the Alameda Point Collaborative community.

Briana Nielson
My name is Brianna Nielson, and I am a third year student at Saint Mary's majoring in biology, minoring in psychology, and heavily involved in both CILSA and the Honors Program. During my time at Saint Mary’s, I have sought out every opportunity I can find to integrate social justice into my studies--which is why I am so excited to be a MICAH Fellow this summer! This summer I will be joining the work of the Alameda Point Collaborative children and teen center and look forward to living in the Alameda Point Collaborative community.

Janaye Perry
My name is Janaye Perry and I am a passionate, loving and love service work. I love to have fun, and I enjoy people, the sun, veggies, good music and even better company. I am a student at the University of San Diego. This summer I will be joining the work of the Alameda Point Collaborative Farm2Market Program and look forward to living in the Alameda Point Collaborative community.

Kimberly Riveros
My name is Kimberly Riveros, I was born and raised in San Diego, but also spent a lot of my childhood in Mexico City. I am currently a sophomore at the University of San Diego double majoring in Sociology (with a focus on crime) and Psychology. I love the city life, going to coffee shops, and shopping. I am happiest when I am surrounded by people that I love and when I am singing and dancing. This summer I will be joining the work of the Unity Council and look forward to living in the Alameda Point Collaborative community.

Daniella Santana
My name is Daniella Santana and I am a rising Senior at Saint Mary's College, studying Psychology with a minor in Spanish. I am a first generation student oldest of four and originally from Tracy, California. I love being involved at Saint Mary's in many different areas like, student organizations, the Associated Students and much more! I am excited and thankful for this amazing opportunity. Alexandra Short
My name is Alexandra Short and I am a rising Senior at Saint Mary’s College studying Social Psychology and History. I’m fascinated with how people interact and how in turn how we can make the world a kinder place through social justice and intentionality. I love my family and friends and I enjoy learning, laughing and being outdoors! Indira Galvez
My name is Indira Galvez Guzman and I am an International Relations major minoring in French at the University of San Diego. I plan to graduate in December 2017. I have triple citizenship; I am Bolivian, American, and Peruvian. I am passionate about social justice and I hope to obtain my Ph.D. someday. My hobbies include listening to music, watching TV, and reading fiction. This summer I will be joining the work of Bayview / Hunter’s Point Community Legal and look forward to living in the Alameda Point Collaborative community.
